HID iCLASS Plus MIFARE Classic or MIFARE DESFire EV1 Plus Prox 252, 262 & 263

Smart cards that combine iCLASS with either MIFARE Classic or MIFARE DESFire EV1, along with HID Prox, are highly beneficial for organizations that utilize multiple types of card readers or are transitioning from one smart card technology to another.

Options for smart cards include:

• Contact smart chip (an embeddable card body or embedded by HID)

HID also provides the flexibility to embed different commercially available contact smart chips. Alternatively, customers can opt for HID’s Crescendo® multi-technology smart card, which offers strong authentication options for logical access systems. If desired, users can also embed their own chip in the standard composite card body.

Lifetime warranty for embedded credentials is only valid for the “Embeddable” line of HID Credentials. The warranty covers the card body only, not the embedded contact chip.
