HID iCLASS 202x Prox Card

The iCLASS Prox Proximity Smart Card combines the advanced iCLASS smart card technology with HID 125 kHz Proximity technology. This single smart card, conforming to ISO standards, allows for integrating contactless smart card applications into existing HID Prox access control systems.

Designed to enhance access control, iCLASS smart card technology offers superior power, versatility, and security compared to traditional 125 kHz frequency technologies. Operating at 13.56 MHz, iCLASS read/write contactless smart card technology ensures compatibility across various applications, including access control, network log-on security, cashless vending, time and attendance, event management, and biometric identification.

iCLASS smart card technology incorporates mutual authentication between the smart card and reader, encrypted data transfer, and utilization of 64-bit diversified keys for reading/writing contactless smart card functionality. However, in the face of modern hacking techniques, more than these techniques is required data. The iCLASS Prox card is compatible with direct image and thermal transfer printers to meet ISO standards for card size and thickness. It features a surface optimized for high-quality Photo ID printing. It is available in standard PVC construction or a more durable composite polyester/PVC construction for demanding environments with increased wear and tear.

For added security and protection against counterfeiting, the card can be customized with visual security features such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, micro-printing, or a custom logo. These features enable quick and easy identification of genuine cards.
