The iCLASS SE R40 is an integral component of HID Global’s iCLASS SE platform, which offers flexible and interoperable access control solutions. Specifically designed for door applications that require standard wall switch mounting, the iCLASS SE R40 supports a wide range of credential technologies and is compatible with various form factors, including cards, fobs, and mobile devices. It can also be configured to support HID Mobile Access®.

In addition to its advanced functionalities, the iCLASS SE platform prioritizes sustainability. The readers within this platform are equipped with intelligent power management features that significantly reduce power consumption, up to 59% in some cases. Moreover, selected models hold Environmental Product Declaration certification and Green Circle certification, contributing to LEED building credits and exemplifying their commitment to environmental responsibility.

13.56 MHz contactless smart cards supported:

  • iCLASS Seos, iCLASS SE, standard iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, and MIFARE DESFire EV1

  • Wiegand or Clock & Data modes
