The multiCLASS SE RPK40 is integral to HID Global’s iCLASS SE platform, which offers adaptable and interoperable access control solutions. It is designed for multi-factor authentication door applications requiring standard wall switch mounting. The multiCLASS SE RPK40 supports many credential technologies, including high frequency 13.56 MHz and low frequency 125 kHz, and is compatible with various form factors such as cards, fobs, and mobile devices. It can also be configured to support HID Mobile Access®.
In line with HID Global’s focus on sustainability, the iCLASS SE platform readers, including the multiCLASS SE RPK40, incorporate intelligent power management features that significantly reduce power consumption. This can result in energy savings of up to 59%. Additionally, selected models within the platform have obtained Environmental Product Declaration certification and Green Circle certification. These certifications contribute to LEED building credits and signify the platform’s environmentally conscious design.
