Founded in 2004, Avigilon quickly became known for their high-quality megapixel cameras and easy-to-use video management software, Avigilon Control Center (ACC). When the industry was introducing 3 and 5 megapixel cameras, Avigilon was introducing 8, 16, and 29 megapixel cameras. Often, installing an Avigilon camera would drastically reduce the number of cameras required onsite. Customers can take advantage of 1-5 megapixel, high definition, Avigilon cameras for regular coverage and 8, 16, and 29 megapixel Avigilon cameras for larger open spaces. Parking lots, manufacturing plants, and shipping/receiving areas can get become very expensive to cover with cameras.
